Elvis

This was George Smith’s bike. He had an idea for an Elvis themed paint job. We decided on a picture of Elvis in a black suit overlaid with his signature in red.

George also wanted to add some guitars on the back. I searched online for photos of guitars that Elvis had owned and found the ones you see on the back of the bags. To make them match I painted a left-handed guitar on one side and right-handed guitar on the other.

I’ve always wanted to do an Elvis paint job, so I was really happy when I found out what I was going to be working on.
The job took about a week to complete. To make it harder, after painting the first Elvis, I had to paint Elvis backwards on the other side so that the bags would match.

I really loved doing this paint job and want to say thanks to George for picking Hanson’s Custom Painting to do the job.

Wee Man

This is Jerry Zepernick’s little boy. He died in the spring of 2009. Something was wrong with is heart. He was only 4 years old.

My wife was working in the emergency room the night that he came in. She was crying the next day but I didn’t know why. I found out later when Jerry (Wee Man) came to see me about doing a paint job of is little boy on his bike.

I can’t tell you in words what it meant to me to get the opportunity to this paint job for Wee Man. This is one of the most heart felt paint jobs I’ve ever done.
Thanks Wee Man for picking me to do is paint job.
